The Quidditch Pitch was a rustle of activity as the last match between Slytherin and Ravenclaw came to a head. The clouds above the stands shaded the arena as was usually the case in this part of Scotland. Lily and Cass were clad in school robes but also wore as many items as they possibly could that bore their house colours without going too far against dress code.
They both had on their green and silver scarves, probably the last time they would have the chance to wear them until the next fall, and matching knit caps. Cass had gone full out, replacing all of her usual rainbow accessories with those of emerald and silver colours.

On the morning of Lily Luna Potter's twelfth birthday she awoke to the usual sounds of preparation that filled the First Year Slytherin girls' dormitory every day beginning at around five and continuing until the beginning of their first class.
Sitting up in bed and stretching her arms so high that her fingertips just grazed the stone ceiling, she yawned and smiled contentedly whilst peering around the room which she shared with the other three Slytherin girls in her year.
To most the atmosphere of the room might have seemed somewhat gloomy or unnerving. The entirety of the wall behind the girls' headboards was made of windows which allowed

Lily Luna Potter had begun to find that she hated art. No, she did not just simply 'hate' art, Lily Luna Potter loathed it. She despised the endless lessons consisting of such dry topics as 'how to draw a proper line', 'what constitutes a circle', and 'when to start thinking you might have bestowed upon your masterpiece too much free will'. The entire subject bored her to no end and it was a wonder to the young Slytherin how she had not yet died of tedium during one of Madame Gillywead's more mind-numbing lectures.
Now, don't get the underage witch wrong, she still adored her cousin Lucy and all that the girl could achieve with such dreary m

Lily lay on the bottom bunk of the bunk-bed she shared with Cass in the dormitories inhabited by the four Slytherin first year girls. She thought about how Christmas had gone splendidly this year, no matter the fact that she had been oddly sorted into a seemingly wrong house. Her family had still loved her though she was also being grilled with questions by everyone, even Uncle Charlie who she thought would be one of the most accepting of her placement. But, all in all, Christmas at the Burrow had gone simply swimmingly for Lily Luna Potter.
"Oi!" A familiar voice hollered at the redhead as another girl with long, black hair stocked into the

Lily made her way past the many compartments of the Hogwarts Express, looking for one that happened to be occupied by her best friend, Cassiopeiea Burke. Sighing in defeat the little redhead took another look around the train before gasping as an owl whizzed past her head.
"Hey!" Lily cried, turning around just in time to see a tall, skinny blonde boy with pasty skin and grey eyes running straight in her direction.
The girl had only enough time to shout in protest before she was lying flat on her back, all the air knocked out of her lungs. The boy who had pushed her down blushed fiercely as he scrambled to his feet, brushing off his black s

The moment the green smoke had lifted from around her Lily Luna Potter was greeted with the familiar sights and smells unique to Christmas at the Burrow. She smiled genuinely as she took in the scent of Butterbeer that had been sent to the Weasleys as a gift from the old man who owned The Hog's Head in Hogsmeade Village, mince pie, and Grandmum Weasley's Christmas cake cooking in the oven. But, all too soon Lily Luna felt a tug on the bottom of her jumper as a familiar, little hand pulled her out of the fireplace and into the cosy living room.
Lily Luna looked down to see her seven-year-old godbrother Lysander Scamander tugging her over to w

Chapter 9 Christmas Day
I dropped onto my bed when I closed the door. I was panting heavily and my heart was bursting through my chest. I felt that my head was lobster red and through my half closed eyes I could see that unconsciously I was changing my hair colour from it's normal fire orange to dark red, strawberry blonde, and Scorpius' flaxen hair. My lips spread into a massive grin. I, Lily Luna Potter, had been making out with Scorpius Malfoy, at my house, on Christmas Eve and no one but Victoire knew about it. My life was great! With these thoughts I fell into a peaceful sleep.

The Christmas break flew past, and before I knew it, I was curled up on the couch in the Slytherin common room, in front of the blazing fireplace, busy writing a Charms essay. Snow was wandering around the couch, prowling to find any mice.
The common room was basically empty. Most students has class, or were in the library. My year, and the 7th years were preparing for our O.W.L's and N.E.W.T's. Especially the 7th years, were starting to dominate the library, Scorpius, Gabriel, Aaron, and Brandon being part of them and the Weasley and Potter clan.
I was busy describing to my charms professor how to successfully transform a potions set into

Chapter 11 A Potter and a Malfoy
March was the month of shouting, screaming, fighting, and drama, in whichever order you prefer. Because you see, March is the month when Scorpius and I decided to risk our lives to tell the world we were dating. I still consider this an act of suicide.
It had been exactly 3 months, 5 days and 8 hours, since we had been dating ‘unofficially’ but we thought it would be the right time to tell the world, that the most unlikely couple…had indeed become a couple.
Funnily enough Scorpius’ family took it very well and so did my mum and dad. I have a feeling they knew it all along. Since Ast

By the time Lucy got off the phone with her mother and made her way back downstairs her cousins were already seated around the long wooden table eating the stew that Kreacher had made with great gusto. The redhead stood lamely, not knowing what to do as she had not been present for a Potter supper in years but Lucy’s youngest cousin had other things in mind.
Lily Luna smiled brightly up at Lucy and patted the empty chair that sat beside her thrice with the hand not clutching her spoon.
Once the littlest Potter had safely swallowed the mouthful of food she had been chewing she raised an eyebrow at the elder girl and said, “Aren&r
